One of my Fall fashion goals was to find a cute cape to layer with during the Fall and winter seasons.  I’m obsessed with the cape fashion trend, but it is hard being petite and finding a cape where I don’t look like I’m wearing a blanket.  I had a few failed cape attempts, but then I received this wool knit cape by Just Female from my Lyon + Post shipment.  Just Female’s cocoon knit cape is a great Fall/winter-layering piece that features an oversized poncho-like silhouette with an all-over ivory and black windowpane plaid in a fuzzy mohair wool blend.  The cape has a collarless neckline and drop shoulder cap sleeves with no closure.  The cape is warm and cozy but still extremely flattering and stylish.  

I’d never heard of the brand Just Female before signing up for Lyon + Post.  After receiving this cape, I looked up Just Female online and love their entire collection.  Just Female was established in 2006 in Copenhagen. The first collection launched during fashion week in February 2007.  Just Female has a very clean and minimalistic design aesthetic, which I love.  Just Female is available across the globe in boutiques, department stores and online.  That’s another reason why I love Lyon + Post.  Lyon + Post has collections from well-known designers that you can choose from online and then try on at home, but has also paired up with new designers around the globe.

I paired the Just Female Cocoon knit cape with my black wrap Pleione blouse from Nordstrom, black petite skinny jeans from Ann Taylor, black riding boots from Banana Republic, Coach aviator sunglasses and black snakeskin purse with gold hardware from Michael Kors.
